Email us: hello@callverify.app. Tell us what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead. A screenshot helps.
The other phone proved it holds the security key registered to that number. The call is coming from their phone.
The check ran, but the other phone could not prove it is the registered one. Be careful: do not share codes, passwords or money details. If you know the person, hang up and call them back from CallVerify. This can also happen innocently if they recently reinstalled the app or changed phones.
The check did not finish. The usual causes are a weak connection, or the other phone being switched off or deeply asleep. It does not mean the caller is fake. The result will appear in Recents if it arrives later.
Check that the number is right, including the country. Wait 30 seconds, then tap "Resend code". If you ever replied STOP to our number, reply START to it to receive codes again.
Pull down on the Contacts list to refresh. Make sure their number is saved in your phone's contacts with the correct country code.
Install CallVerify and confirm your number again. A new security key is created on the new phone and the old phone stops being trusted.
No. Calls go through your mobile carrier as usual and never pass through CallVerify. See the Privacy Policy.
Open CallVerify, go to Settings → Delete account. Your number, security key and notification token are removed from our server immediately, and the app's data is erased from your phone. If you no longer have the app, email us and we will do it for you after confirming you own the number.
